The “Choir of Nations Biel-Bienne” has been in existence in Biel/Bienne since summer 2024.
Under the artistic direction of Bernhard Furchner, people from all over the world sing together – the songs they bring with them from their home countries or get to know anew.

The concept of the choir is to bring people of different origins and cultures closer together and to understand each other better by singing together. The repertoire consists mainly of songs from the choir members’ countries of origin. The songs are contributed by the singers.
We have members from many nations. At least a third of the singers are people with a migration background.
Inclusion through choral singing. This is where Swiss people meet people from all over the world – an invaluable network and a wonderful circle of friends.

We rehearse every Wednesday from 7 – 9 pm (except school vacations and holidays).
